What does Clipfox do?
Clipfox turns a long video into several short clips chosen by AI. Each clip is cut on a clean sentence, reframed (vertical 9:16 by default) and captioned, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.
Is Clipfox free?
You can start for free: every account gets 30 minutes of source video per month, exported in 720p with a small Clipfox logo. A free account is required; you can create it with Google or with a code sent by email.
How do I turn a long video into short clips?
Upload the file or paste its link, choose the format and the clip length, then click Create clips. Clipfox transcribes the speech, picks the strongest moments, cuts and reframes them. You download only the clips you want.
Which links work?
YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo and most public video links. Only send videos you own or have permission to use. Minutes from a link are counted like uploaded minutes.
How are minutes counted?
One minute of source video uses one minute of your monthly quota, and a started minute counts as a full minute. Running the same video again within 24 hours is free, and a failed analysis is never counted.
What quality will my clips have?
Free exports in 720p, Creator in 1080p and Pro up to 4K. A clip is never sharper than the video you send: a 720p source gives 720p clips on every plan.
How many clips will I get?
You choose how many clips you want, up to ten per video. Clipfox ranks the moments it finds, so the first clips are the strongest. A video with more speech gives more material to choose from.
Does Clipfox generate videos with AI?
No. Clipfox only cuts, reframes and captions your own video. Every frame of every clip comes from the footage you sent.
