Terms of service

These terms apply to everyone who uses Clipfox at clipfox.pro. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Clipfox.
1. Who we are
Clipfox is published by the publisher of the Clipfox service ("Clipfox", "we", "us").

2. What Clipfox does
Clipfox turns a long video that you provide (an uploaded file or a public link) into short clips. It analyses the speech, suggests the strongest moments, cuts them, reframes them (for example vertically) and can add captions. Clipfox works only with the video you provide: it does not generate new footage.
The moments suggested by the AI are proposals. You decide what you publish.
3. Your account
An account is required to create clips. You can log in with Google or with a 6-digit code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google account secure, and for everything done with your account. One account per person; accounts must not be shared or resold.

Prices in euros: €9, €19, €90 and €190. Taxes may apply depending on your country.
- Counting. One minute of source video uses one minute of your quota. A started minute counts as a full minute. Analysing the same video again within 24 hours does not use minutes again.
- Failed analyses. If an analysis fails on our side, the minutes are not used.
- Monthly reset. Minutes reset at the start of each monthly period and do not roll over.
- Quality. The export quality is a maximum. A clip can never be sharper than the source video: a 720p source gives at most 720p clips, on any plan. When a landscape video is reframed vertically, the clip uses the part of the image that contains the subject.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, and no further payment is taken. Refunds are granted where the law requires it. If we change a price, we will tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal.
6. Your videos and your rights
You keep all rights to the videos you send and to the clips you create. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and deliver them to you while you use the service.
You must own the videos you send, or have permission from the people who own them. This includes videos sent by link (YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo or other sites): you are responsible for respecting the rights of creators and the rules of the platforms you use. Do not send content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that shows people without the consent the law requires.
We may refuse or delete content that clearly breaks these rules, and suspend an account that does so repeatedly. To report content, write to hello@clipfox.pro.
7. Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt the service, get around the limits of your plan, access other people's data, or use automated means to create accounts or send videos in bulk without our written agreement.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep Clipfox available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will never be interrupted or that the AI will always choose the moments you would have chosen. Keep your own copy of your original videos: Clipfox is not a storage service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
9. Closing your account
You can stop using Clipfox at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@clipfox.pro. We may close an account that breaks these terms; if we do so without a serious reason, we refund the unused part of the paid period.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
11. Law
These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, please write to us so we can try to solve the problem together. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also use the mediation and dispute-resolution options available in your country.
