Twitch Stream to Clips — Turn a Long Broadcast into TikToks and Shorts
Paste a Twitch VOD link or upload your stream and get vertical, captioned clips of the moments where you talk. For TikTok, Shorts and Reels.

A four-hour stream has maybe ten minutes that someone who wasn't there would enjoy. Finding them means scrubbing through the VOD, marking timestamps, cropping your facecam, adding captions and exporting each clip. That's an evening of work for every stream, which is why most VODs are never clipped at all.
Clipfox does the scrubbing. Paste the link to your past broadcast or upload the file, and it returns vertical clips of the moments worth posting, captioned and titled.
What Clipfox looks for in a stream
Clipfox reads the transcript of your stream: your reactions, your stories, your answers to chat, the moment you explain a strategy or lose your mind over a bug. It picks passages that make sense to someone who joins cold, cuts them on full sentences, and reframes them vertically on the person speaking.
That makes it a great fit for Just Chatting, commentary, IRL, podcasts streamed live, and any game where you talk a lot. If a highlight is purely visual, with no words, it won't stand out in a transcript; clip that one by hand.
From VOD to TikTok in four steps
- Paste the VOD link or upload the recording. Twitch keeps past broadcasts for a limited time (7 days on most channels), so clip soon after the stream or save the file.
- Choose vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Shorts and Reels.
- Choose how many clips, up to ten per video, and optionally a maximum length (15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds and more).
- Download the ones you like. Each clip has a title you can reuse as a caption.
Tips that make stream clips perform
- Use instructions. In the options, write what you want: "only the moments where I react to chat", "the boss fight", "everything about my setup". The AI narrows its selection.
- Keep them short. On TikTok, a stream clip that gets to the point in the first two seconds keeps viewers. Set a 30-second maximum if your reactions are quick.
- Post the same day. A clip of last night's stream rides the conversation your community is already having.
- Credit and link. End the caption with your channel name so viewers know where to catch the next live.
Clipping someone else's stream?
Many clippers work with streamers who pay them or share revenue. That works when you have their permission. Clipping and reposting a stream you don't have rights to can break the streamer's rights and the platform's rules. Clipfox's terms ask you to send only videos you own or are allowed to use.
Quality and limits
A stream in 1080p reframed vertically keeps a 607-pixel-wide slice of the original image, which looks sharp on a phone. Free accounts export in 720p with a small logo; Creator removes the logo and exports in 1080p; Pro goes up to 4K when the source has it. Creator and Pro accept streams up to 2 hours.
